To start programming in Java I developed this small Java applet. (I think this was done in the summer of 2009)

Note: Your browser hopefully doesn’t support Java Applets anymore or at least does not have it enabled by default. The route to enable Java Applets varies by browser. If Java is installed and enabled you should see the game below. If not “Java Applets not supported” does show up.

Start: click on the applet (to make sure its active), and press the space bar.
Control: Left: ← | Right: → | Down: ↓ | Turn: ↑ | Start: space bar
